It seems that most of the four wheel drive Trucks and SUVs you see have never left the pavement of their daily commute or to chauffer kids to and from soccer practice.

Well, I have no intention of my Ford F-150 being a member of that club. So, I hooked up with the North Tampa Off-Roaders Association (NTORA) and took the F-150 for a trail ride.

We had a blast! The pictures just do not do justice to the amount of fun we had.

Here we all are trying to determine just how deep the Withalacoochee River is at this point. Yeah, you know the 4x4 bug may be beginning to set in when you start thinking that with just a little more lift and some more aggresive tread I could cross that river.

The preceding action photographs were brought to you be Jenn. Unfortunately, she made a small miscalculation in trajectory and distance. But as usual, Jenn was a great sport and took it in stride!
