Over the first six miles, the river drops an average of 150 feet per mile. In a 1/4 mile gorge, the Chattooga river drops 75 feet through the Five Falls: Entrance, Corkscrew, Crack-in-the-Rock, Jawbone, and Sock-Em Dog!

Rafting the Chattooga River delivers both beautiful scenery and awesome whitewhater. The river has been designated as "Wild & Scenic" by Congress and contains multiple Class III and Class IV rapids.
