Over the first six miles, the river drops an average of 150 feet per mile. In a 1/4 mile gorge, the Chattooga river drops 75 feet through the Five Falls: Entrance, Corkscrew, Crack-in-the-Rock, Jawbone, and Sock-Em Dog!
