Getting There is Half the Fun

So, you have a day off in Germany. Of course you rent a Mercedes, head for the Autobahn, check out a Bavarian Castle, eat some bratwurst, and drink a Krystal Weizen.

Always let the Consultant rent the car!
The Autobahn

Getting there may be half the fun, but getting there at 215 km/h is even more fun!
   -  That is about 135 mph
   -  Yeah, we got passed (Well!)

Wayne at 215Km/Hr!
Schloss Neuschwanstein
Schloss Neuschwanstein

Built in the late 1800's by King Ludwig II in the "authentic style of the old German Knights' castles" from idealized sketches to imitate the 13th century Romanesque style.

Neuschwanstein served as the inspiration for Walt Disney Land's Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Yep, its a castle. Says so right here! Darrin poses for a classic tourist shot Darrin poses for a classic tourist shot - again!
Bavaria

The Bavarian, Lechtal and Allgau Alps form a magnificent panorama with the meadows of Schwangau in the foreground.

The views are truly amazing.

Mmmmm... Bratwurst
Brats 'n' Beer

Ok, it is a little cliche, but we had to end the day with some grilled bratwurst and lots of Krystal Weizen.

Yeah, it's good!
