So, with almost no real thought, we decided to ride our bikes the 90+ miles from Gainesville to St Augustine. And, we even convinced a friend to come along.

(Check out my bike. There is enough luggage for a week long bicycle trek. I actually packed canned food!)

Well, not really. Most of the route consisted of a busy highway littered with roadkill. However, we did spot the occasional rustic home or actual live wildlife. The occasional redneck buzzing by and screaming "Get off the Road" kept it interesting.

Here we are seeking shelter as it begins to rain! It seems the perfect time for a nutritious meal from our friends at Burger King! Nothing says quality nutrition and exercise performance like Big Fish & Onion Rings.

Despite the lack of planning and preparation, we did it. The next day began with a leisurly breakfast followed by a relaxing day tooling around Old St Augustine and enjoying a day at the beach.
